REGISTRATION COMMITTEE
The function of this committee is to prepare the Registration Examinations to be taken by applicants and determine the time and place for the holding of Registration Examinations. It designates the Chief Examiner, the Examiners and substitutes, and enters into contracts with members of the Panel of Examiners on behalf of the College.
It determines the procedures for the conduct of the Registration Examinations and reviews the results of the Registration Examination or re-examination for each applicant. It makes determinations concerning applicants’ qualifications for registration, including applications by Inactive Registrants who wish to become Active Registrants again.
Prior to granting registration, it submits a list of applicants to be registered to the Board for approval.
The Registration Committee ascertains if a graduate from a program which is not an Accredited Educational Program holds a degree or diploma that is substantially equivalent to one issued by an Accredited Education Program.
It may also strike a panel to hear appeals or take complaints regarding the Registration Examination and report on same to the Board, and develop policy statements on the College’s registration program for approval by the Board.
