Low Level Laser Therapy Postion Paper - December 2009
Note from the Quality Management Committee:
We would like to inform our registrants that the following paper is for informational purposes only, and is not meant to imply that any credits will be granted for attending a Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) course, nor to imply that LLLT is an accepted treatment modality for RMTs to utilize, as currently the Provincial Government does not recognize this modality as being within the scope of practice for RMTs in BC.
It is due to the increased interest from our registrants in this modality that the CMTBC is sharing the information contained in this paper. As well, this paper will be part of the presentation that will be made by the Scope of Practice Committee on behalf of our registrants, asking that this modality be included in the scope of practice for RMTs in British Columbia.
