PUBLIC NOTICE

RE: Whistler Massage Therapy

Please take notice that Yuri Korzarovksy, Natalyia Perchatkina and Dmitriy Kandyba, doing business at the Whistler Massage Therapy in Whistler, BC, are not registrants of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) and are therefore not entitled to practise massage therapy in this province.

Massage therapy is regulated in British Columbia under the Health Professions Act. Only active registrants of the CMTBC are entitled to practise massage therapy in British Columbia, or use any of the four titles set out in the Massage Therapists Regulation. The reserved titles are: Registered Massage Therapist, Massage Therapist, Registered Massage Practitioner and Massage Practitioner. It is also illegal for a non-registrant to use a name, title, description or abbreviation in any manner that expresses or implies that he or she is a registrant of the College.
