The Health Professions Act

The Health Professions Act is one of the three major pieces of legislation which govern the massage therapy profession in BC. The Health Professions Act governs all health professions in BC. In section 16(1) it outlines the primary duty of a health profession college at all times:

(a) to serve and protect the public, and

(b) to exercise its powers and discharge its responsibilities under all enactments in the public interest.
