SCOPE OF PRACTICE REVIEW
The CMTBC has been actively involved in an extensive review of the scope of practice of all BC health professions, which began in 1993. This review is being undertaken by the Health Professions Council ("HPC") under terms of reference from the Minister of Health.
The HPC's terms of reference and its February 1999 preliminary report on the scope of practice for massage therapy, as well as other useful information about the Council and its other reports, are available at the Council's website.
