TO THE REGISTRANTS - OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - 11-07-18
On behalf of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) the Board of Directors, is announcing the departure of Doug McRae as Registrar effective July 15, 2011. Doug has served the College with the utmost dedication since 1983, and we want to take this opportunity to thank him for his many years of service to the profession and to wish him well in the future.
The Board of Directors has commenced a search for a new Registrar to carry out the responsibilities of the College under the Health Professions Act.
To help us out during this transition period, the Board of Directors has engaged Dan Peebles as Interim Registrar. Dan is a retired secondary school principal. From 1994 until his retirement in 2005 Dan was seconded to the British Columbia Public School Employers Association (BCPSEA). Since retirement, Dan has consulted with numerous school districts and the Ministry of Education on various issues.
This is a time of change for our College, but with everyone's help and cooperation, we can look forward to an organization that is capable of meeting tomorrow's challenges in the dynamic health care environment in which we all operate.
