Agreement on Internal Trade

The AIT is a federal agreement. Full labour mobility in Canada was implemented April 1, 2009 by federal and provincial mandate, under AIT, Chapter 7. The CMTBC must grant full registration, without additional assessment, testing or educational upgrading (except for the BC jurisprudence exam) to active registrants from Ontario and Newfoundland/Labrador, Canada’s two other regulated provinces.
