Do active registrants from other Canadian regulated provinces (Ontario and Newfoundland/Labrabdor) have to upgrade their education or do any examinations to get a license and practice in BC?
A. No. The CMTBC must grant full registration, without additional assessment, testing or educational upgrading (except for the BC jurisprudence exam) to active registrants from Ont. and Nfld/Lab., Canada’s two other regulated provinces.

A. Yes.

Do registrants from Ont./Nld.Lab registering in BC have the ability to advertise specializations?
A. No. The CMTBC has created a panel to address the issue of specializations but currently there is no recognition of specializations.
