New Registrar/CEO - Ms. Susan Addario

The Board of Directors of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia is very pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Susan Addario to the position of Registrar/CEO of the College. Ms. Addario’s appointment is effective as of February 27th, 2012.
Ms. Addario is an accomplished senior administrator and joins the College from her most recent position as Director, Student Services and Registrar at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, a position she has held since 2008. Prior to her work at the Justice Institute, Ms. Addario was the Director of Student Affairs at the University of Toronto from 1997 to 2007.
Ms. Addario holds a Bachelor of Arts (English and Psychology) 1977 and a Master of Arts (Criminology) 1981. Both of these degrees were granted by the University of Toronto. Ms. Addario takes on this new role at a time of significant change as the College strives to meet its mandate of protecting the public. Ms. Addario has experience in successfully meeting the kinds of challenges she will face as she works to move the College forward. The College and the public will benefit from her outstanding ability to build successful, productive teams. She is recognized as a person with great interpersonal skills and as an extremely hard working, ethical, intelligent, visionary leader who can identify an issue and set a strategic plan to deal with it.
